I STILL haven't figured out my Halloween costume, lol. I've seen some photos and gotten some ideas, I just have to figure out exaclty what I want to be so I can get my outfit fixed up. I'll figure it out. NOT going to miss the best part of Halloween :D

Zombies 101

BRAAAIIINNNSSSSS!!!! What's your first thought when you hear that? Zombies, of course. But why are zombies so determind to eat the victim's brain? Perhaps it's because THEY don't even have one (we'd be in more trouble if zombies were "smart"). Maybe we think they eat only brains, well prefer brains, because that's what Hollywood has drilled into our heads. So do they REALLY prefer brains, or is it just something made up in Hollywood? Well, let's look into a little research.

When a person gets infected with the zombie virus, the virus kills their brain starting at the front & making its way to the back while skipping the core area. This area is actually kept a live by the virus. So, zombies are TECHNICALLY not brainless. Primal instintics (located in the core area) needs food to survive. This "food" can be animals, flesh, brains, etc. As a result, zombies are not just after your brains, they want EVERYTHING.

10 Things NOT to Do During an Outbreak
According to Zombiephiles.

10. Don't set zombies on fire. They smell terrible.
9. Don't get sentimental. Zombies won't.
8. Don't forget to shut the door behind you. Zombies often come over without calling first.
7. Don't keep zombies in the basement, even if they're your zombie family.
6. Don't try to reunite with friends/family over long distances.
5. Don't go down (basements/sewers/etc). Zombies can go down too.
4. Don't broadcast your presence. Zombies may be listening.
3. Don't stand in front of the window.
2. Don't get too creative with zombie defense.

Zombie Monday

Hello bloggers. Had a fabolus weekend. Attended The 4th Annual Myrtle Beach Zombie Walk on Saturday. Took 6 hours to do my make-up & costume. It was supposed to "storm", but never happened. Just rained for a good 30 minutes, but after we had walked :) If you'd like to see photos, check 'em out here. I entered two contests, but only stayed for one. I won best make-up :D My husband also got asked to help do some work on a guy's movie. Wonderful! I also found out there's going to be a zombie prom in Jan. of 2012. How wonderful.

In other news, we listed a pile of intestines on our Etsy shop a few days ago.
