I received the newest copy of Self Magazine the other day. I picked it up for the first time today & something caught my eye: "Weight Loss Playlist: Music Proven to Slim You Down Faster". Whaattt?!?!?!? According to the magazine, "science says listening to tunes signals your muscles and mind to wake up ---it's like a jolt of caffeine, with a melody!" There's also a "to burn 150 calories" chart & a "to burn 200 calories" chart. It has songs listed, how long they are, and the speed you should walk while listening. I think I'm in need of some new tunes ;)
