Sony Suffered an Additional Security Breach, 24M Accounts Compromised


Sony is just revealing today that hackers accessed an additional 24.6 million customer accounts. In addition, 12,700 "non-U.S." credit cards and 10,700 bank account numbers have been compromised. What was Sony saying all of this time? That they were not sure this information was taken. I believe they new the whole time. Sony is just in one big mess. Anyhow, Sony will be giving customers 30 additional days of subscription service for free. However, time will only tell how many customers will be willing to stick around and give Sony a second or third change to get things right when it comes to protecting customer data.
