Things don't change; people do.

"Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends...Things do not change; we change."
That is the quote I saw when logging onto my blog today. It's so very true. We say the world has changed, but it hasn't. WE have changed and made the world what it is today. WE pollute it. WE make it a non-safe place. WE changed it. The world hasn't changed; WE have changed the world.

A tree planted today, will still be the same tree in 20 years (apart from aging). A fruit on that tree today, will still be the same kind of fruit that falls from that tree in 20 years. You see, trees, as well as any other thing, do not change. Sure it'll age, but it's not going to change into a flower or start producing different fruits. We are the only thing that changes. We may drift a part from each other, start hating each other, or even love one another.

Although we change, change can be a good thing. However, change is inevitable. All the moments and times in your life will come back around again. Like the saying goes "history repeats itself", just like the moments in your life. It may not be with the same person, heck, it may not even be in the same state, but it will come back around. It will repeat its self.

Why do people change and things stay the same? Things lack the will and intellect to change themselves. People are always changing just as sure as things are staying the same.
